It’s been about a month since the incredible release of 8 Ball (Deluxe). This record features 5 new remixes of the original album and 1 new track. The Deluxe version of this record is a reflection itself, each remix is supposed to mirror the original track, where there was tension, now there’s release... where there was trauma, now there’s euphoria.

Last year, Canadian singer-songwriter Sam Louis made quite a splash with his debut album, '8 Ball', earning accolades from tastemakers like SPIN Magazine and capturing the hearts of many. Now, as summer approaches, Louis is set to re-ignite that excitement with the release of '8 Ball (Deluxe)', a souped-up version of his acclaimed debut, hitting airwaves later this season. Adding to the buzz, a brand new single, 'Show Me' featuring Mia Baron, offering a tantalising glimpse into what the deluxe edition holds.
'Show Me' immediately hooks listeners with its rich, deep basslines and expansive synths, creating a nocturnal soundscape that feels both intimate and grand. Toronto-based alt-pop artist Sam Louis is doubling down on emotion, grit, and vulnerability with the deluxe edition of his breakout debut album, 8 Ball. “8 Ball was always meant to be a mirror of life’s chaos,” Louis shares in an interview with Remixd Magazine. In addition, he shares a sentiment: “One moment you’re on top of the world, the next everything comes crashing down. The deluxe version just adds more pages to that story.”
