A singer-songwriter, Sam’s music is more than sound — it’s an immersive experience. With a growing list of sold-out showcases and international sync placements, his rise in the music industry speaks volumes.
Sam is a top 100 semi-finalist in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition and a proud recipient of an Indigenous Music Award for Best Pop Album. In 2023, he gained national attention by placing in the Top 50 of Canada’s Got Talent.
His music has been spotlighted on major playlists including Spotify’s New Music Friday, YouTube’s Pop Before it Breaks, and Amazon’s Brand New Music. His breakout single “No More Running” earned wins and honourable mentions in the UNSIGNED ONLY competition (ROCK & AAA categories), ultimately leading to his first publishing deal with TRO Essex Music Group— home to legendary acts like The Who and Black Sabbath.
Last summer, Sam released his debut studio album 8 Ball, a deeply personal odyssey for all generations. The album garnered features in BILLBOARD, SPIN Magazine, Music Connection, and Rotate This, solidifying Sam’s status as one of Canada’s most exciting and emotionally resonant new voices in alt-pop.
